First Menopause Support Appointment
We offer an initial consultation at the centre which which gives you an opportunity to talk through your history and circumstances. This allows us to tailor a treatment plan to suit your individual needs and see how best we can support you. We will start by taking a full history and talk about your life and lifestyle and look at any fine-tuning that may be helpful. During the consultation we will suggest which therapies would be most useful to you. The Therapists at Southside Therapy Centre work as a team and will work together to tailor your treatment plan to your needs including reviewing your treatments and making any changes that may benefit you.
Acupuncture for Menopausal Symptoms
Acupuncture has been shown to reduce hot flushes and night sweats!!!!
It also helps balance hormones and return a state of balance at a time when women can sometimes feel quite out of sorts and even disconnected from their bodies. Acupuncture can be grounding and relaxing and reduce symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety and insomnia. Acupuncture can work well with digestion changes, urinary issues, joint pain and other physical symptoms that can occur when hormones are changing.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT can be used to help with managing stress and mood changes during the Menopause as well as helping reduce flushes by reducing stress.

Booking & Cancellation Policy for all Therapists at Southside Therapy Centre
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the therapist as soon as possible. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If you arrive late for your appointment, it will still have to end at the usual time.
